So, what are the popular hair colors these days? You may have noticed them. They are everywhere. One color I would describe as a kind of brassy, honey tone and the other is a bleached blonde. Many well-known movie stars and famous people’s hair is colored in these colors and you may assume that you too should color your hair in these tones especially since you think it would be great for a special occasion.
Unfortuanetly there are a couple of things amiss with these hair colors.
1. Years ago any professional hair colorist would have considered a “brassy” tone an unfinished hair color and a bleached blonde would have been the same because after hair is bleached it has an unnatural yellow tone which must be neutralized in order to make it look like a natural very light blonde or platinum blonde.
2. Both of these popular hair colors have a warm tone, though an unatural one, and should best not be worn by anyone who is a cool color type because it simply won’t suit them.
I don’t know if there is anything more important that you can do in order to look fabulous than having a hair color that totally suits you. That is why you have to make sure that when you color your hair that it’s the right tone and shade.
